Other events
Anything else worth counting: a sign-up, a demo request, an item added to the cart. Make one a goal to count it in experiments; recordings show every one in the timeline, and you can filter sessions by them.

</script>The fields
name- Up to 128 characters, matched exactly: signup and Signup are two events. Lowercase with underscores keeps them tidy.
value- A number, for goals that add up an amount rather than count visitors.
anything else- Text, numbers or true/false, kept with the event.
Counting one in experiments
Under your site's Goals, create a custom event goal with the same name. It then counts, per variation, the visitors who sent it; or, for a goal that adds up an amount, the total of their value.
Page visits and clicks need no code: make them goals directly.
